Assumes new user is taking over computer from old user

  1. Does your company subscribed to Microsoft Intune? If not, jump to step number 3.
  2. Does the computer has Windows Intune? 
    • If you see this icon  at the right corner close to the clock in the task bar, that means "Yes" -> Go to step 4 
    • If it's not Installed, open Internet Explorer, go to https://account.manage.microsoft.com/ 
    • Login with Office365 user account 
    • On the top, click on "Company Portal" 
    • Click on the sentence "This device is…."



    • Click on ENROLL



    • Click on DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE and then RUN



    • The Installation wizard starts, click on NEXT



The computer might prompt you a question, answers YES.

At the end of the process, click on FINISH

If you wish, you can Rename / remove the device: https://portal.manage.microsoft.com/

  1. Is Microsoft Office 365 Professional Plus 2013 installed? 
    • If yes, jump to step 4.
    • If not, follow these instructions:
    1. Sign in to Office 365, at http://portal.office.com/OLS/MySoftware.aspx.
      If you don't see Office listed, your plan probably doesn't include Office applications. If you know your plan includes Office, you may not have a license assigned, see What Office 365 product or license do I have? If Office is not listed ask your Office 365 administrator to assign a license to you.
    2. On the Office page, select a Language, and then choose Install to install the 32-bit version.
      NOTE To install the 64-bit version, choose 64-bit in the Version section before you choose Install. If you're uncertain, try Choose the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Office for more information.


    3. At the bottom of the screen, select Run.


    4. Follow the prompts and accept the license agreement.

    5. When you see "You're good to go," select All done.

  1. Windows / Office Updates:
    • Hit the Windows button on your keyboard and immediately write: windows update
    • Select the windows update application
    • Check or click (depends on Windows version) on Microsoft Update to run the checking process
    • Install all important and recommended updates
  1. Printers
    • Check if the printer(s) is/are available on the computer
    • Hit the Windows button on your keyboard and immediately write: printers
    • Select the Printers application
    • Add printers from local network as necessary
